Meet The Horses
Thunder - Thunder is a 14-year-old red roan Belgian-Appaloosa cross. He stands 17 hands and has a totally mellow temperment. Thunder carried our canter vaulters at regional and national championships this year. We use this wonderful horse for both individual and team events. He is owned by Jodie Howard.
Miss Fire Opal - Opal is a beautiful blonde Halflinger. She is 8 years old and stands 14 hands high. Our vet has nicknamed
her "Paris Hilton". Opal carries our youngest vaulters at walk and trot, and participated in the last two national
championships. She is the sweetheart of our club and just about the prettiest little horse you'll ever see.
Anastasia - Tasia is a 6-year-old bay Shire cross. She stands 16 1/2 hands and is Utah born and bred. Tasia
loves people and will put up with anything we can dish out. She entered the competitive arena this past summer, carrying our canter vaulters at the national championships. She made us all very proud.
Gizmotion - Gizmo is a 15-year-old Holsteiner and stands over 16 1/2 hands. He is a "flea-bitten gray" and came to the
world of vaulting after retiring from a long career in jumping. Gizmo knows it's all business when he enters the show ring and has
taught us all a lot about putting forth our best. Gizmo carries canter vaulters and carried our winning
B team at the 2007 national championships.
